Bless taming feature & Founder’s Packs trailer

Bless Early Access and Advanced Access are almost here and as many players are eagerly waiting for the launch – the game’s devs gave us some small updates and reminders of what we will see in the game. The first official news update we got this week was a blog post about taming feature. The official post isn’t very informative in my opinion but I guess since the launch is very close – everyone will learn the details “in action”. Even so – I think that if we actually got an update about this matter then it should contain all the important details about it, not just general informations. Anyway, in Bless we will be able to tame most of the creatures in all the zones. The taming feature will give us a chance to turn those creatures either into mounts or into pets (which will not only be cosmetic companions but…

Bless Q&A and an open letter to the Community

How is it possible it’s Sunday already? Where did the rest of the week go? Hey everyone, it’s been a pretty nice week for me, what about you? I still can’t really find my place after I finished playing Mass Effect Andromeda (and watching Gotham) but the developers never sleep… or do they? Not long ago we got announcements of Bless Emissaries, the game prices and… existence of a subscription in the game. This week Neowiz has shown again that they not only monitor the community’s reactions for the announcements but they also listen to the players’ voice. During the passing week Bless developer posted two important updates on the internet. The first one was a “Q&A” post that addressed many game-related questions and issues that last updates and press conference brought. The Questions and answers that I personally found the most interesting are below. Q: How does pricing work…

    Finished ME:Andromeda

Last night I finished Mass Effect Andromeda and I have to say – it was quite an adventure! I had several months of a break from this game and I’m not sure why, to be honest. Those several months ago when I was playing it last time I really enjoyed it, so I guess something made me drop the game for a while or maybe I’ve had enough of it for that time because I overdosed it and just needed a break. But, several things reminded me of Andromeda recently. First I watched Lost in Space, a Netflix show about a, well, space travelling family discovering new planets. Then I got to try out Defiance 2050 beta and I really liked it but I realized it strongly reminded me of Andromeda. And after the beta ended I wanted to play Andromeda more and more and finally I opened the game…

    Bless updates!

We finally got some solid news about Bless Steam launch – the dates, the prices of both the game AND founder packs, but also the first wave of Emissaries was announced. Congrats everyone! The chosen Emissaries were divided into 3 categories. Creators from the first one were awarded for their work towards popularizing the game with invitation to the first official Bless press conference on which the game was presented to the participants, as well as the important news such as the base game price and founder packs pricing were announced. Two other categories were Bless Content Creators and Bless Community Leaders. The list of the Emissaries you can find on official Bless website and below under “Show more” button (be warned, there is 96 people + press conference attendees names there!) Bless classes news + Contest results!

In the last several updates Bless developer focused on exposing classes that will be available to play with the game’s launch. You can find more general informations about the classes, lore and the game itself on Bless Wiki. The first class update we got were animated class posters. Unfortunately the videos are currently unavailable to watch since Bless YouTube channel is experiencing some problems (the developer assures everyone that it will not affect the game’s release and the YouTube problem is under investigation). We still have some pretty still images for now and with Dev Talk #04 we got actual combat previews for every class! To keep the post shorter I hid the videos under “Show more” buttons. [full_width] Berserker (warrior) A typical warrior class wielding a two-handed axe. An interesting twist to the class is Bless’ combat feature: stances. In Berserker’s case one stance will be more defensive, letting…

ESO beta testing #02 + Contest!

Hello everyone! It might have seemed like I disappeared from here but on the contrary  – I was working on some little project of mine concerning this blog. It’s finished now, but first things first. Besides the mentioned project, as some of you may remember, a while ago I kept fighting with Elder Scrolls Online PTS broken download. And after many troubles I finally managed to not only download The Elder Scrolls Online PTS but it also works (this time)! And I maybe didn’t have much time to play it but so far I loved everything I saw in Summerset. Above is just the login screen that managed to amaze me with its beauty on its own. I also have to admit, I’m a big fan of ESO loading screens art. In fact one of such paintings is currently on my PC’s wallpaper. The Summerset loading screens are truly beautiful…

Bless news + ESO Beta testing #01

Bless Online news It’s only Thursday and we already got 2 interesting news from Bless Online developer – Neowiz. Several days ago the dev posted a new lore blog post on Steam that explains what are the two factions of the game, what races are allied in each faction and what is the reason of their conflict. As in any good story there is no “goods” and “bads” – there are just two sides of the conflict, each with their reasons – just like in any war. The comments on the factions are varied, even though it seems most people sympathize with Union, the more progressive faction that want to bring changes to hierarchy and social structure to, in their opinion, make world a better place. One particularly interesting comment for me compared Union to Germany in WW2 because of the revolutionary intentions, while Hieron, the Holy Alliance, wants to…

Bless Dev Talk #03, ESO Event Extended & more

During this passing week we got several interesting game news. 4 of them were particularly interesting for me, since they concern the games I either play or intend to play when they are released. And what is even better – they are all good news! Bless Dev Talk #03 Bless Dev team is working hard on making everything ready for the Steam release of the game, but still every once in while they manage to find some time to give us updates on what they are working at and what we can expect from the game. This time, in their third Dev Talk, they focused on some of the biggest changes comparing to the Asian releases of Bless Online. An interesting fact to note is that the news were first “leaked” on official Bless Discord to celebrate over 10.000 members of the channel. In this blog developers explain the main…

    ESO Anniversary event

This time I’m still on time with the event post as it is still going! Recently I wrote a post about the Jester Festival in Elder Scrolls Online. Soon after that short (one week) event ended – another one has started and this time the event is longer – the Anniversary event runs between April 4 and April 16, so there is still several days to have some fun with it and get bonus quests rewards. As with the previous ESO event – you join this one by “buying” and using a free quest starting item from the Crown Store (“Featured” tab). As I said in the last event post – I’m not really a fan of such event joining  mechanics – it’s very unintuitive. After you obtain the event quest starting item, Jubilee Cake Voucher, you’ll be able to join the event by using it. As its description says…

    ESO Jester Festival

I’m a little bit late with the post since the Jester Festival has already ended, but it was my first Elder Scrolls Online event, so I’d still like to write about it. To join the event you have to “purchase” a free item in Crown Store. As the new event started and it’s the same drill I’m guessing it the usual way of joining the events and I have to say it’s definitely not intuitive. If the event is free I should be able to start it without visiting the store – it’s honestly the last place I’d look for the quest starter and I would still be wondering how to join the event if I didn’t have helpful guildies. When the quest starting item is obtained and used – it gives a quest that sends you to a Jester Queen in Vulkher Guard who then after a short conversation…
